Village level mapping of demography and amenities has been in demand for long.This GIS based website enables dynamic generation of choropleth maps for rural India for more than 160 parameters of Primary Census Abstract 2001 and Amenities Data, provided by Registrar General of India. The navigation allows the user to query on different levels like State, District or Village Level. Maps are generated on the fly with proper color ramp as per the user selection considering the maximum and minimum values which is further sub-divided into 4 categories. The basic GIS functionalities like Zoom In / Zoom out , Pan, Identify and Print are incorporated in this web gis application.
